The Montserrat Abello library is located in an old industrial building in the Les Corts district of Barcelona. We developed a system for displaying the exhibits on the history of the building as well as creating the promotional and launch communications.
Our solution was to fix industrial beams to the walls to act as guide rails to hold the exhibits in place. This was a cost-effective way to display ítems at the same time as respecting the past of the building.
The promotional material was created using a typography that suggested the industrial origins which was reinfoced by using archive photographs of the building in its original use.
